Graham Murphy - Banjo Toni Murphy - Bass Anita Grunwald - Fiddle
Todd Kimball - Guitar Phil Cornish - Mandolin

1. Big Train | J.C. Fogerty
Anita (lead), Toni (baritone), Graham (low tenor), Mike Wilhoyte (guitar)
No self-respecting bluegrass cd would be complete without a train song, and this one delivers full steam ahead!

2. Never Had the Blues | Rick Cornish
Phil (lead), Anita (tenor), Graham (baritone)
Like I got the blues right now! It's a trick title.....RC is sneaky like that.

3. Drink From His River | Kevin Willette
Toni (lead), Phil (baritone), Graham (low tenor)
Our friend Kevin seems to have a calling to convert New Testament Gospel stories to song. This song just started flowing through him one evening, and he had an initial version recorded within a couple hours.

4. Mule Ride | Phil Cornish
Paul Lee (fiddle lead), Anita (fiddle backup)
Phil made this one up but Todd named it based on the feeling it evoked in him.

5. Where Peaceful Waters Flow | Rick Jamison
Phil (lead), Todd (baritone), Toni (tenor)
Our friend Rick wrote this based on the book "The Perfect Storm" and it turned out to the perfect song. It sounds dark and stormy, the lyrics rolling off one's ears like rain drops off the stern of a sinking ship.

6. Amarillo | Emmylou Harris/Rodney Crowell Wait & See Music/Jolly Cheeks Music (BMI)
Toni (lead), Graham (baritone), Mike Wilhoyte (guitar), Phil Campbell (mando)
Snagged from a 1975 Emmylou Harris album entitled "Elite Hotel." Emmylou's music was a big influence on Toni when she growing up.

7. Lauder's Lament | Phil Cornish
When Phil tried to show this one to his friend Ron Lauder, Ron kept lamenting the strange chord changes, hence the name. Others have since lamented.

8. Ocean of Diamonds | Clifford Carnahan/Cedarwood Publishing (BMI)
Toni (lead), Anita (baritone) Graham (low tenor), Mike Wilhoyte (guitar)
What can you say? There's nothin' like a good ol' Jimmy Martin tune!

9. I Wish it Would Rain | Nanci Griffith (ASCAP)
Anita (lead), Toni (tenor), Graham (baritone), Paul Lee (fiddle)
Anita discovered this gem from the pen of Nancy Griffith about five years ago. It's been one of our signature and most requested tunes ever since.

10. River Town | Phil Cornish
Phil (lead)
Phil wrote this over several months struggling to assemble lyrics and music. He left it open-ended so the listener could decide what the man did. Thanks to Rick Jamison and Todd for help getting the chord structure down.

Listen, 1.33 MB .mp3

11. Waiting to Hear | Lester Flatt/Chuck Johnson (BMI)
Toni (lead), Phil (baritone), Graham (low tenor)
The first time Toni heard this Flatt & Scruggs song, she copied down the words and learned it that very day!

12. Celica | Kevin Willette
A tribute to a powder blue Celica our buddy Kevin used to own. He tried to write a song that he hoped would conjure up thoughts of driving with the window open and feeling the Central Texas breeze blowing in your face.

Special thanks to: Graham for engineering and producing album; all musicians for their contributions; songwriters Kevin Willette, Rick Jamison, Rick Cornish, Phil Cornish for their original material; all our die-hard fans for their support.
